Nurilia and Me – Interview with Khadija

Recently we chatted with Khadija. She and her husband have faced many difficulties in the pregnancy journey. Today, with the help of Nurilia food supplements, she is a mother for the second time. She agreed to testify about her long battle with infertility.

A long difficult journey...

Hello, my name is Khadija, I am 44 years old and I am the mother of two little girls, Jasmine and Sarah who has just been born.

My PMA journey began a few years ago. My spouse and I started by taking control exams. We discovered that he suffered from azoospermia, a total sterility preventing him from having a child. We started an IVF protocol in France using a donor. 

After 4 unsuccessful attempts, we took stock of our possibilities and we finally decided to turn to a clinic in Barcelona. Following several interviews and further examinations, the doctors detected hyperhomocysteinemia which we began to treat with Nurilia products. In the meantime, we repeated two attempts. A first which failed while the second succeeded, unfortunately ending in a miscarriage after three months of pregnancy. On the third attempt, I had a stronger treatment to prevent the age-related disorder.

I again took several Nurilia products. This last attempt was harder but ended up leading to the birth of our little one. 

A grueling ordeal...

Before my first pregnancy, this period was very difficult psychologically speaking. We are lost between all the appointments, and I have a kind of obsession on the subject. That is to say that I put a large part of my life on stand-by and I asked myself a lot of questions: “Why doesn't it work? or "What is my problem?" ". It is a great period of doubt where many things are questioned. Not to mention the physical and psychological fatigue of failed attempts. It is true that repeated punctures are quite difficult to bear, especially when they do not succeed.

Despite all the time it took and all the difficulties, I managed to have the strength not to let go and to hold on until the end. We said to ourselves that if we had the chance to become parents, we had to take it.
